Ration Box exercise Class Swindon
Wednesday the 8th October saw the launch of Swindon Borough Council’s ‘RationBox Exercise Programme’ – a 12 week home exercise programme aimed at sedentary people and/or those who are unable to access activities in their community.
Fit as a Fiddle
Senior citizens across Wiltshire are enjoying exercising to music.
The Fit as a Fiddle Project ( FAAF ) is a major new programme funded by the Big Lottery Fund and delivered by Age Concern England and the nine English Age Concern regions. In the South West the programme aims to improve the mental and physical well being of up to 800,000 older people.
Activity for over 50's Consultation report
The research was commissioned by Wiltshire & Swindon Activity & Sports Partnership (WASP) on behalf of Sport England and undertaken by Age Concern Wiltshire with support from the ‘Beyond the Immediate Research and Consultation Team’ (BTI R&CT).
